Mental Position Productions. is founded by two men "Keiichi Hasegawa (POLO)" and "Takeshi Sudo (MADU)" in 1994.
The name derives from the function of video deck "Rental Position" that adjusts noise of video tape. (Especially for video tapes that are rented in video rental shops. Those tapes are magnetized and scratched so much.)
When MADU said Rental Position, POLO heard it as "Mental Position" and thought that that name fitted to what we were doing in DJ.
Now, we use this name for various projects like business, party, internet radio, etc.
