I write entries only in English on my policy, but I had a trouble of purchasing iPhone in Japan, and some people in Japan had same problem, so I decided to write this topic also in Japanese.
Shinobu Unakami wrote about this issue in his column "OS X Hacking" on Mycom Journal site (Japanese). He was enforced to buy iPhone with unecessary price plan.
Today, I bought Apple iPhone 3G for tomorrow, my birthday present.
I was not impressed with its design so much because I saw it on the internet news everyday. But as I thought, this is a gadget I had wanted for a long time.
I dreamed PDA/Cell Phone on which I could recieve and send email of my domain through POP/SMTP protocol of my server, and browse web sites like Safari or IE (not like japanese cellphone's junk web browser). iPhone enables most of functions I wanted.
Ian O'brien who started music by influence of Detroit Techno, seen in lots of albums and compilations in various genre, made a mix for the series of Mi Mix.
Its tight minimal beats agitate your ears, and deep and spacy sound blow it up like letting you warp to the floor.
This album is released on 9th October 2008.
Terre Taemlitz, one of the most important artist in House music scene of East Coast US, releases her 1st album as DJ Sprinkles on 9th October 2008.
Messages of antithesis to present House Music scene, and beautiful deep sound which is been developing like proving those words enchant listeners with minimal and tight beats.
Not only Deep House fans or Chillout music fans, but people who like beautiful tracks must buy this album.
Kevin Moon, a.k.a. Moonstarr hit his 1st album "Dupont" 6 years ago. This unknown track maker was found and known in underground scene of breakbeats and hiphop fans, DJs.
At last, he releases 2nd album titled "Instrumentals Forever" on 22th October 2008.
This album also has cool interludes like A Tribe Called Quest's 3rd album "Midnight Marauders". In this album, sampling structure is more refurbished, and top choised sampling sources are smoothly harmonized than 1st album.
"Instrumentals Forever" will stimulate recent stacked HipHop scene.
I upgraded my SanDisk UltraII SDHC Card to 8GB. Recent SDHC's average price is getting lower. You can buy 16GB SDHC only about 6,000 yen. But, this card has USB connector. So, you can plug into your PC, and directly transfer your data without any adapter.
I got NITTO's riser handle bar "NITTO B259AA" and replaced B201.
More rised up, back sweeped, and thickened grip.

This DVD is a film of new york alleycat race "MONSTER TRACK 8". Includes "Track Kaiju" featured Japanese messengers SINO and HAL, "Monster Track Race and Interview". SINO won 5th place in this race. (later, he got 1st prize in CMWC 2008)
This film has taste of art and underground feelings more than films like PEDAL. And also has quality music of DJ OBAH.
Chapter One is a how to movie of fixed gear bike produced by T-19.
Basically, I do not like this kind of howto and school of street culture because these things sometimes ruin the culture itself. You need learn it on the street by yourself.
Chapter One is a good film as a promotion movie of fixed bike, but it should be filmed without talk...
I had been looking for a hiphop song "Raise Hell" of M.O.P.(Mash Out Posse) that I heard only in the radio show "Hot97 Boogie and Barber (Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito)" and BadBoy official mix tape by Stretch Armstrong. (not a song in the album titled "Mash Out Posse")
After 13 years, I asked Stretch about this song when I devoted archives of "WKCR Strech Armstrong show" and "Hot97 show". And I got the answer directly from him, "i think raise hell was a song that never came out."...
But, later I searched for the song, I found it in the album "Legends:Vol.5" (released in the end of last year). I think this is probablly the song because it was noted as previously unreleased. I bought it online, so I will know in a week.
"Raise Hell" is one of the best hiphop songs in my music history.
