R&B singer/song writer, Amerie released the album "Love & War". Advanced released single "Why R U" is the bomb. This song sampled breakbeats of Ultramagnetic MC's classic song "Ego Trippin'" for the track blending with Amerie's cute and so much soulful voice.

Entire album is not so impressive than previous album "Because I love It", but this release abosolutely stimulates cold music scene.

Legendally crowned MC from South Bronx "KRS ONE" & the represent MC of underground hiphop from Brooklyn "Buckshot" teamed up and completed the album "Survival Skills" in September 2009.

As they created so many classics and blew up the spot, this tag team is still doin' their thing. They choosed new generation track makers like Ill Mind, Black Milk, Marco Polo, Moss, DJ Mentplus, Nottz, KHRYSIS!, Coptic, and 9th wonder. And featuring variety of guest shots from young MCs to veteran, Havoc (Mobb Deep), Rock (Heltah Skeltah), Talib Kweli, Geo (Blue Scholars), Smif-N-Wessun, Immortal Technique, K'NAAN, Pharoahe Monch, Sean Price (Heltah Skeltah), Loundmouf Choir, Bounty Killer, Slug (Atmosphere), Melanie Fiona, and Naledge (Kidz in the hall).

Port of Notes is guitar song duo of Miyuki Hatakeyama and Daisuke Kojima.

They released new album "Luminous Halo". The sound is so transpalent and streophonic which make me feel idyllic soundscape.

They seems to enjoy music with very pure soul. By their music, you can really know how music should be.

Nicolay's album "Here" (released in 2006) is mellow hiphop breaks + smooth R&B + laid back down tempo sound. Featuring several MC's and vocals, each tracks construct so balaned album.

I think the way of enjoying music is not just downloading and listening in your PC or iPod. You can enjoy music with printed cover artworks (not on your display). Especially Nicolay's releases have good artworks which let you imagine how you feel from those music. Also this album's cover artwork is very simple minimal designed and so atmospheric.

I got a message from official staff of nicolay music for the review of City Lights Vol.2. So, I bought other Nicolay's releases which I didn't have, and try to write review of them.

City Light Vol.1.5 is a mixed compilation album of self produced tracks. (Vol.1 was not released. I guess "The Dutch Masters Vol.1 corresponds to it.)

In today's rotten hiphop scene, Nicolay creates new music keeping authentic hiphop method with genuine sense. Tracks in this album are more rugged and mellow hiphop beats than 2.0 and tracks of The Foreign Exchange.

This music is not so stimulating type, however, absolutely slow but steady.

I was wondering if I should choose Single lens reflex camera rather than Four Thirds or Micro Four Thirds camera.

Ofcourse legacy Single lens reflex is a standard professional tool but I choosed a new way of digital single lens camera technology for my gear.

I am not big fun of Panasonic though, LUMIX GF1 is the best choice for my demand. This camera can record no limit HD (720p) movie (AVCHD Lite or Motion JPEG). One of Micro Four Thirds camera, OLYMPUS Pen EP-1/EP-2 can record only less than 20 minutes.

It will be better if it supports Full HD movie and AVCHD Format with more stable grip on the right side.
