We have two major tethering application for iPhone.

One is PdaNet, and another is iPhoneModem.

PdaNet uses so much resouces while tethering, but it seems to be more stable and reliable than iPhoneModem.

I prefer PdaNet though iPhoneModem is distributing the tiny app "iPhoneModem.app" which creates Ad-hoc network automatically. This app is so useful with PdaNet.

StreetView of Google Maps was supported on iPhone software 2.2.

Drawing street view is not so fast, but I can enjoy and utilize it anywhere with iPhone.

iPhone firmware 2.2 released and was broken by new released QuickPwn.

It was so easy as previous version, but I couldn't restore JB software with AptBackup (It doesn't seem to work without restore by iTunes.)

Anyway, 2.2 runs fine after the pwnage.

Sonic Vox is voice changer app for iPhone.

It changes the tone of your voice just by saying to the iPhone's microphone. Sliding horizontally your finger on the screen makes it's tone higher or lower, and vertically moving adds effects to your voice.

This is not useful app, but just for fun.

Direction (経路) of iPhone's Map has not been available in Japan for a long time.

Now it is available in some place and part of Japan.

GPS on Google map is very useful, so this support becomes one of reasons to purchase iPhone.

VOIPoverIP3G is an iPhone app which enables Fring to connect via 3G network.

With Backgrounder and Insomnia, you can keep Skype and other IM connection alive.

Search function is not supported on iPhone. (You need at least run each app, then you can start search.)

"Search" is an app which lets you search Mail, SMS, Notes, Contacts, and Web directly.

People who recieve lots of email on iPhone will give up searching an email while Mail is loading recieved email list so slowly.

By "Search" app, you can find and reach email, notes, or contacts so quickly.

Fring is app store officially released Skype/SIP/IM app.

I didn't believe that Apple allowed its release because allowing Skype/SIP call will become the rival of Cellular call.

In most case, you do not need look into directories of MacOSX Mobile. But for some user, it is convenient to view files and directories in iPhone.

Mobile finder is an alternate app of MacOSX file browser.

MxTube is an app which can stream and download YouTube Video.

At first, I thought I did not need this app because I didn't have any compain about default YouTube app except its encoding speed and I didn't need to download YouTube movies to my iPhone.
